How long is an FSSAI registration or licence valid?
Under the 2026 FSSAI reforms, registrations and licences have perpetual validity unless suspended, cancelled or surrendered. Businesses must still comply with applicable food-safety and other statutory requirements.
How long does the application take?
Processing time can depend on the application, documents, inspections and any queries raised by the authority. We assist with preparation and follow-up, but the final processing time is determined by the concerned authority.
Can an FSSAI registration or licence be modified?

Small food businesses can have FSSAI requirements even when operating from home. The applicable category depends on the activity and current eligibility criteria.
What about businesses operating in more than one state?
Multi-location or multi-state businesses may have additional licensing requirements. The applicable arrangement depends on the business structure and activities.
Are government fees included in your professional fee?

How do I know whether I need FSSAI Registration, State Licence or Central Licence?
For applications under the revised framework effective from 1 April 2026, the general turnover thresholds are: Registration up to ₹1.5 crore, State Licence above ₹1.5 crore up to ₹50 crore, and Central Licence above ₹50 crore. Turnover is not the only factor; the food business activity and Kind of Business can also affect eligibility.
